Bus Riders
The Bus Rider design was inspired by my constant lengthy travels on the montreal buses. Countless times, when I didn't have a newspaper or my phone died, I entertained myself by looking at the scratch tags covering the windows. This is a big shout out to all the montreal writers and to the open-mindedness of youth at the same time. Until a certain age, kids (like the one illustrated) just enjoy things because they haven’t developed prejudgement yet.

This design was really just a random character I came up with. When I look back at it though, this Fat Man is kind of a portrait of my lazy "loafer" side. :P

The robot is a funny social commentary on society’s progression towards getting machinery to do everything for us, along with the overwhelming laziness and apathy of people towards politics and the condition of our planet. This is one of our best-sellers however so maybe people are waking up after all! :)
